About this print

“Wilds of West Cork” is an original, limited edition, hand-pulled lino print. It is designed, carved and hand printed in West Cork.

This print stretches from Baltimore to Bere Island and includes Sherkin Island, Cape Clear, Ballydehob, Schull, Goleen, Crookhaven, Barleycove, Mizen Head, Three Castle Head, Durrus, The Sheep’s Head and all the many townlands, coves and inlets in between.

Each “Wilds of West Cork” is individually printed by hand using the highest quality fade resistant gold ink. It is printed on azure blue Canson mi-teintes paper. This is a 60% cotton paper, acid free and conservation quality. This means that your print will resist fading, yellowing and deterioration.

*Please note that the print comes unframed. The images supplied are simply to give an idea of how it may look when framed.

Please note that your print was made by a human hand and not a printing machine. This means that there will be small variations between prints, which adds to their uniqueness.

If a print is out of stock, please check back again in a couple of weeks, as I will be printing more. If a limited edition sells out, it will be removed from the shop.

Due to the size of the print, it can only be posted unframed. It will be rolled in a protective mailing tube and packaged to avoid damage to the print. It will be ready to bring to a framers for framing.
