“The Dingle Peninsula” is an original, limited edition, hand-pulled lino print. It is designed, carved and hand printed in West Cork. It is one of the biggest linocut prints I can currently produce.

This print stretches from Barna Strand to Doulus Head on the Iveragh Peninsula and takes in Fenit, Castlegregory, The Magharees, Ballyferriter, Slea Head, The Blasket Islands, Ventry, Dingle, Inch Strand, Rossbeigh and all the many towns, villages, coves and inlets in between. You’ll also find the mountains of Slieve Mish, Brandon and the Glenbeigh Horseshoe.

The Dingle Peninsula is situated on the Wild Atlantic Way on the South West Coast of Ireland. It is an area of breathtaking beauty and has been voted one of the most beautiful places on earth by the National Geographic. It’s easy to see why. The magnificent coastline consists of steep sea cliffs tumbling into the mighty Atlantic Ocean, long sandy beaches, villages where live music greets you at the door of the many bustling pubs and cafes. It is a place rich in culture, the arts, ancient archaeology, great food and stunning scenery.

The mighty Slieve Mish mountain range along with Mount Barndon, Ireland’s second highest peak, dominate the centre of the peninsula. You will also find the Blasket Islands, the most westerly island group in Europe. Now deserted, they were once home to a vibrant community with a rich literary heritage. They are a place of magnificently wild and rugged beauty.

Each “The Dingle Peninsula” is individually printed by hand using the highest quality fade resistant gold ink. It is printed on azure blue Canson mi-teintes paper. This is a 60% cotton paper, acid free and conservation quality. This means that your print will resist fading, yellowing and deterioration.

*Please note that the print comes unframed. The images supplied are simply to give an idea of how it may look when framed.

Also please note that your print was made by a human hand. This means that there will be small variations between prints, which adds to their uniqueness.

If a print is out of stock, please check back again in a couple of weeks, as I will be printing more. If a limited edition sells out, it will be removed from the shop.

Due to the size of the print, it will be sent rolled in a protective mailing tube and packaged to avoid damage to the print. It will be ready to bring to a framers for framing.
